Two weeks ago the CPPS-J Team participated in an exclusive show hosted by one their major Japanese sales partners, Selcam.
Selcam’s showroom unit, a Colorado M5W, was running smoothly, showcasing high productivity to customers.
This exclusive show as held in Osaka, and since there have been few opportunities to demonstrate actual equipment in the western part of Japan until now, the goal is to grow UVgel business in this region as well!
A total of more than 450 people and more than 270 companies attended the event, making it the largest show ever at Selcam Osaka, which has been organized for more than 10 years.
Here’s a look at some of the printed samples we’re exhibiting this time.
The soft signage samples display PEARL, ALTERRA, and MERCURY, all handled by Selcam. Each achieves deep blacks and vibrant colors using Colorado UVgel ink and the new Backlit High Density printmode.
For transparent PET media samples, the team prepared a sample where you can compare single-layer, 2-layer, 3-layer, and 5-layer media side-by-side. This clearly shows the excellent opacity achieved with Colorado’s 5-layer printing!
Also the metallic prints on high gloss mirror media impressed many using Color Logic files to showcase the creative possibilities without the need for actual metallic inks.
Next to the Canon Colorado Selcam offers other partner products that are equally important to our customers, such as RIP software from ONYX and Caldera, XY trimmers from Fotoba, and flatbed cutters from Zünd.
