From large-format graphics and production printing to workflow software, finishing and applications, Canon presented an integrated view of print production at PRINTING United Expo 2026 in Las Vegas.

Visitors exploring the Canon booth
PRINTING United Expo brought together approximately 27,000 registered attendees from 100 countries and more than 850 exhibitors. Covering markets from commercial print and packaging to wide-format graphics, labels, textiles and industrial printing, the event offered a broad view of the technologies and developments shaping the print industry. Canon USA was the title sponsor of the 2026 edition.
A broad Canon portfolio
At the Canon booth, visitors could explore technologies for large-format graphics and production printing. The large-format portfolio included the Colorado XL-series, Colorado M-series and Arizona 2380 GTF, alongside imagePROGRAF printers and Colex cutting solutions. In production print, the highlights included varioPRINT and imagePRESS technologies, with PRISMA workflow demonstrations showing the role of software in managing print production.
The emphasis extended beyond the individual machines. Printing systems were presented alongside workflow software, finishing solutions, media and finished applications, giving visitors a view of how these elements work together in a production environment.

From technology to finished applications
Application displays gave visitors the opportunity to see how print technologies translate into finished products. Examples across large-format graphics and production print demonstrated the range of possibilities, while interactive presentations offered a closer look at Canon technologies and services.
One example was the presentation of the varioPRESS iV7. Although the press itself was not physically on the stand, printed output and a life-size wallcovering application illustrated the types of work it can produce and helped bring its capabilities to life.

PRISMA demonstrations highlighted another part of the production process: the software used to connect and manage workflows. Alongside printed samples and finishing examples, they showed how workflow management can support a more integrated approach, from preparing jobs to producing the finished result.

Automation and integration across the industryThe focus on workflow and integration reflected wider themes across the show floor. With commercial print, packaging, labels, wide-format graphics and other segments represented at the same event, PRINTING United offered opportunities to discover technologies beyond familiar markets and explore new applications.
By bringing these technologies and applications together, Canon demonstrated how an integrated approach can help print businesses streamline production and explore new opportunities. At PRINTING United Expo 2026, the focus was not just on what individual systems can do, but on how the right combination of printing technology, software and finishing can support a complete production workflow.
