From Shanghai to Guangzhou, live printing and FLXfinish+ steal the spotlight

Shanghai National Exhibition and Convention Center (L) and the Canton Fair Complex in Guangzhou (R)
The Canon Colorado M-series recently made a strong impression across two of China’s leading print events, highlighting the versatility and innovation of large format printing to a wide international audience.
The tour began at APPPEXPO 2026 in Shanghai, one of the world’s largest print exhibitions. Around 180,000 visitors explored the latest print technologies, with close to 1,700 exhibitors spread across 170,000 square meters. At the heart of the show, our partners Shanghai Ming Ming and Beijing Sane showcased the Colorado M-series across multiple booths, offering live printing demonstrations and real-world applications. Visitors were able to see the printer’s speed, precision, and consistent high-quality output firsthand, drawing strong interest and engaging conversations.

Just days later, the tour moved roughly 1,300 kilometers southwest to the 33rd edition of D·PES Sign Expo China in Guangzhou. Here, our partner Guangzhou Jiayun took a prime position at the main hall entrance. The Colorado M-series, particularly with FLXfinish+, captured visitors’ attention immediately. The striking combination of matte and gloss effects in a single print, combined with live demonstrations, made the booth a hub for discussions, sample requests, and exploration of new applications. The visual impact resonated strongly with visually oriented professionals, leaving a lasting impression on both local and international visitors.

Together, these events demonstrated not only the global relevance of the Colorado M-series but also the importance of strong local partnerships. By combining innovative technology, engaging live demos, and strategic presence on the show floor, Canon and its partners delivered a tour that showcased the full potential of large format printing in action.
From Shanghai to Guangzhou, the Colorado M-series proved that when performance meets the right stage, innovation gets noticed, sparks ideas, and inspires new possibilities across the print industry.
