Artisan Signs in the UK has started 2026 with another investment in its production department, adding a Canon Colorado M-Series printer to its wide-format line-up. The 1.6 m system expands capacity, supports short-run projects, and helps free larger printers for high-volume jobs.

The new printer handles self-adhesive vinyl, roller banners, posters, labels, and other short-run work. Loaded with white ink, it can produce matt or gloss finishes without additional laminates, reducing waste thanks to durable UVgel inks. Its standout feature is the ability to print matt and gloss on the same graphic in one pass, enabling spot gloss, visual textures, and eye-catching transitions within a single design.

This investment is part of Artisan’s continued focus on offering end-to-end wide-format solutions. With dye sublimation, UV, UVgel, and Latex technologies in-house, combined with extensive finishing equipment, the team can select the best process for each project, delivering high-quality, fully tailored results.

To help customers explore these capabilities, Artisan also offers sample packs that include recyclable and eco-friendly materials.
