How technology, automation and collaboration are helping shape the next chapter of print.
More than 270 customers and prospects from 27 countries attended Power to Move, a two day event organized by Canon Europe and hosted at the Customer Experience Center in Venlo, The Netherlands, on 16 and 17 June 2026. The event explored practical routes to digital transformation through technology, workflow automation, business innovation and market insights.
Transforming pressure into progress
Print businesses are navigating a market that is changing faster than traditional business models can absorb. Customer expectations are evolving, automation is accelerating and new application opportunities are emerging.
With Power to Move, Canon Europe brought together print leaders to explore how technology, insight and collaboration can help businesses adapt and grow. The event combined live demonstrations, expert sessions and discussions focused on creating new opportunities through connected solutions and smarter workflows.
Jennifer Kolloczek, Senior Director, Marketing & Innovation, Production Printing, Canon EMEA, opened both event days and shared the vision behind Power to Move:
“Power to Move is about transformation, bringing together technology and insight in Venlo, where our expert teams shared and explored what the best path forward looks like for print businesses. What makes this event so valuable is that it creates a direct feedback loop, the conversations we have here genuinely shape what we build next. That’s the real power to move: moving print businesses and the industry forward together.”
Insights shaping the future of print
Keynote speaker Bernd Zipper, renowned industry expert, and Founder and CEO of zipcon, shared his perspective on the changing role of print and the opportunities ahead.
His message was clear: success will not come from efficiency alone. Print businesses that combine technology, automation, creativity and strong partnerships will be best positioned to create value for their customers.
As Bernd explained:
“In a digital-first world, trust, relationships, and relevance are what matter most, and they are the very strengths of print.”
He highlighted how combining inkjet-enabled mass customization with creativity, data and intelligent technologies can help transform print into a highly relevant and profitable growth opportunity.
Exploring new possibilities
Visitors discovered Canon’s broad portfolio of production print and large format graphics solutions, including the varioPRESS iV7 B2 sheetfed inkjet press, varioPRINT iX1700 B3 sheetfed inkjet press and the Colorado XL 3.4m roll-to-roll and hybrid printer.
The event also marked the unveiling of the ColorStream 7000 series, a new range of presses designed for print service providers looking for a reliable, future-ready platform for mid-range production.
Beyond hardware, visitors explored workflow automation, Canon’s PRISMA portfolio and partner solutions from OneVision and Enfocus. Together, these technologies demonstrated how connected workflows can help optimize operations and support new applications.
A live AI-driven workflow developed together with Enfocus showed how automation can simplify processes and create new opportunities.

Moving print forward together
As the event concluded, customers left with fresh insights, a clearer understanding of Canon’s strategic direction and renewed confidence in the opportunities ahead.
Power to Move showed that successful transformation is about more than technology alone. The businesses best positioned for growth will be those that combine innovation, workflow optimization, strong partnerships and a clear understanding of customer needs.
By continuing to listen, collaborate and innovate together, Canon supports print businesses as they move towards the future.
