Sign, Print & Promotion – Norway

Finally it was time for the graphic fair again. And Sign, Print & Promotion at Hellerudsletta showed in full that the graphic industry has shaken off the pandemic and is planning for new upswings.

– We are very satisfied, it has been well visited all the time with customers in all parts of the graphic industry, says Anton Strand after two busy trade fair days.

In collaboration with Profil og Dekor , Canon’s 120 sqm stand was decorated with examples of new graphic materials that can be printed on, with inspiration from the concept Vegan Health Factory . In addition, the fair was the last stop for Canon’s Roadshow car, which in recent weeks drove 5300 kilometers from the Finnmark coast and south.

After a year and a half of restrictions and minimal physical meetings, an entire industry found it liberating to be able to meet, discuss technology and business opportunities with suppliers, and have a coffee and a chat with industry colleagues. Most suppliers of production equipment participated, and an entire industry took the call and put manpower at the fair.

One of many visitors who was impressed by the Canon stand was Anne Grethe Dahl from Skag Design in Stord. She had taken the morning flight from Western Norway to reach the fair, and could not hide her excitement.

– Canon’s stand is the fair’s finest, without a doubt! It differs completely from all others, and shows what is possible to produce, on different materials and with a completed graphic expression. I expected to meet machines, but this turned out to be a real WOW !, says Anne Grethe, while she is guided in various materials and production techniques by Canon’s Bård Strand , to be found daily at Canon’s Bergen office.

Skag Design performs both creative services and production services, for various customers in Western Norway. – Here I get inspiration for new areas where we can help our customers, and Canon shows it in a great way. Liberating free of machine focus, says Anne Grethe Dahl very satisfied.
