First Colorado 1650 installed in Western Japan!

Our customer Okura Process is now the proud owner of a Colorado 1650, becoming the first customer with a Colorado in western Japan. He explains the reason for his choice on his website:

“First Colorado 1650 installed in Western Japan

The new printer introduced this time is a model called Colorado 1650 manufactured by Canon, which will be the first to be introduced in western Japan .

The feature of this printer is “UVgel ink”, which is a completely newly developed ink!

UVgel ink has the advantages of a wide color gamut like eco-solvent (solvent), and environmental performance such as being odorless like latex ink, but with the high productivity of UV ink.

In addition, the new ink developed this time has increased flexibility (up to 185% elongation), making it possible to handle highly flexible materials such as tarpaulin without causing ink cracking, further expanding application range. They also plan to print to cotton fabrics like canvas and katsuragi, and synthetic fiber-based fabrics such as tromat.”

On top of all the benefits Okura Process also love the look of our beautiful Colorado 1650.
