At the recent C!Print trade show in Lyon, France, Canon showcased their latest innovations, including the versatile Colorado M-series roll-to-roll printer, the high-quality Arizona 135 GT flatbed printer, and the efficient PRISMA software suite.
Convinced of the strong emotional impact induced by printing, Canon participated in this unmissable event with the desire to demonstrate how its technological innovations, its teams of experts, its customer service, and its collaborative approach gave companies the power to transform their businesses.
With this in mind, a space was dedicated to the “World Unseen” exhibition, a new immersive and accessible experience that invited the general public, including visually impaired people, to discover photography through touch. Canon made this possible thanks to its proprietary PRISMAelevate XL software and its range of Arizona flatbed tables, which were on display at the booth and produced prints with unparalleled fineness.
The reflection on the accessibility of printed applications continued during the conference entitled “Visual Impairment: How to Develop Inclusive Communication,” which took place on Wednesday, February 5th, at 4 pm.
During this edition, and while the world of printing was facing many challenges, Canon was also eager to discuss its innovations and how they met the challenges of the sector. On the stand, a dedicated room allowed these meetings to take place. Similarly, various workshops allowed visitors to discover Canon’s end-to-end solutions in graphic arts. From large format to small format, including the production of personalized wallpaper and inkjet printing, they were all present. Visitors found:
- The Colorado M-series: the first 1.6m wide format graphic arts roll-to-roll printing solution featuring white UV gel ink. It offered true modularity in terms of configuration, speed, and media handling.
- The Arizona 2380 GTF: a flatbed table designed around the new Arizona FLXflow technology. In addition to its exclusive patented Hold functionality, FLXflow offered Float and Instant Switching functionalities, allowing users to increase their productivity by more than 20%.
- The PRISMA XL Suite: This powerful software suite streamlined workflows, automated tasks, and enhanced productivity for print professionals. It offered advanced color management, job preparation tools, and connectivity options, allowing for seamless integration with Canon’s printing hardware.
