A unique concept

Based on the growing desire to create a place where vegans and non-vegans can enjoy vegan junk food together, the Vegan Junk Food Bar opened its first restaurant in 2017 in Amsterdam. VJFB is more than a restaurant where they serve colorful and innovative vegan dishes. It is a complete experience!

Its distinctive interiors are an edgy mix of colorful street art with a touch of chic. Vintage R&B and hip-hop tunes rock you in a unique urban metropolitan relaxed VJFB atmosphere which makes you want to come back for more.

A unique experience

VJFB decided for one of its restaurants in Amsterdam to abandon the colorful world that made them successful and to redecorate it with arty black and white drawings that dominate the interior of the entire restaurant. Customers should feel as if they are in a real-life comic book while at the same time enjoy some tasty, colorful burgers. The lack of color in the interior really makes the dishes pop. These are, after all, the stars of the show.

The black and white interior was created with the latest printing technologies from Canon; Colorado 1650 with UVgel technology.

UVgel made it unique

If you are looking for a photo-worthy restaurant (that serves great food as well!), you should definitely check it out. Every wall and detail of the 2D restaurant gives you an instagrammable, futuristic and optical illusion. The artwork is done so well that it might take you a while to discover which elements are real and which are not. It’s an experience that will take you from reality into a world of art and fantasy. Enjoy your meal.
