While the world held its collective breath in April our Canon Solutions America colleagues selling large-format solutions in the USA had an extraordinary month, taking orders for 18 Arizona flatbed printers and 15 Colorado 1650 printers. Even more importantly, fifteen of the eighteen Arizona printers sold were 2200 and 6100 series systems, bringing these important higher volume customers on board for years to come.

Effective sales support programs

This amazing result was achieved using many tactics and with excellent support from Canon Financial Services who offered a 0% lease rate for Arizona 2200 series and a 3 month deferred payment option for Arizona 6100 series. The Venlo headquarters joined in with structural support for existing Arizona owners and an ink-bundle promotion to help them land net new customers.

Arizona Loyalty Program

Most important in the numbers was their success in churning many customers with the promotion of the new Arizona Loyalty Program; designed to encourage existing Arizona customers to churn old systems for new by offering real value for their current printer, an extended warranty and bundled software tools including Touchstone, Arizona Xpert and Printsight. Proving once again that keeping a current customer is always easier than finding a new one.
